Data deletion instructions

If you connected Facebook or Instagram to Plugio, you can remove that Meta data at any time. This page explains how — including the automatic path Meta uses when you send a deletion request from Facebook Settings.

1. Disconnect inside Plugio (fastest)

  1. Sign in at app.plugio.app.
  2. Open Connections.
  3. Click Disconnect on each Facebook Page or Instagram account you want removed.

Disconnecting deletes Plugio's access tokens for that account and removes the connection from your Plugio account. Published post history you created in Plugio may remain as your own content record, without live Meta credentials.

2. Request deletion from Facebook

  1. Open Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Remove Plugio, then choose Send Request for data deletion.
  3. Meta calls Plugio's secure deletion callback. We verify the signed request, disconnect your Facebook and Instagram accounts in Plugio, and delete the associated Meta access tokens and analytics for those accounts.
  4. You receive a confirmation code and a status URL where you can check that the request completed.

3. Email us

Write to privacy@plugio.app from the email on your Plugio account. Include "Meta data deletion" in the subject. We process requests within 30 days.

Related: Privacy Policy. Your Plugio login and non-Meta data (for example YouTube connections) are not removed by a Meta-only deletion request.
